    Took my Santa Fe here, from where I bought it, for it's first MOT. They failed it because there was a Tyre Pressure Monitoring warning light illuminated. I was aware of this before I took it in as quite a few months previous I had changed one wheel for the spare and the spare does not have a TPM valve fitted to it despite it being the same quality tyre as all the rest. All tyres were correctly inflated and fully legal prior to the test. I never imagined that it would fail the MOT on such a trivial thing as this or I would have changed the wheel over prior to submitting the car for MOT. The original wheel & tyre was stowed in the spare wheel compartment of the vehicle and fully legal. There were no safety issues whatsoever in respect of the MOT failure. The service reception had my mobile no. to ring me should there be any problems, however they did not ring me to inform me, so on returning to collect the car they told me it failed the MOT. It would have been a five or six minute job for the garage staff to swap the wheeks back so all road wheels have the TPMS valves fitted. I queried why they didn,t do this small job to enable the car to get a valid MOT certificate, I was told by service reception that their MOT staff are not allowed to do this. Why one of the other mehanics couldn't have done this I have no idea. Now it is a twenty mile drive for me to have to bring the car back within 10 days for a free retest. I explained this to them and the service reception lady suggested I go outside and do the wheel change myself and then they would endeavour to fit it in later in the day for a retest. This made me angry as I have a prepayment service plan with them which I have been paying for nearly three years plus the fact that it would take me at least half an hour and also the fact that I have been loyal to this dealership for ten years buying at least four cars from them in addition to other Hyundai cars I have purchased from Hyundai dealerships in the past. The car also had it's scheduled Health check but they failed to endorse the service book which was on the front passenger seat. I feel that they were very pedantic in the way they dealt with such a trivial matter and less than tactful in their manner with no regard to the customers welfare when I told them I had to make a doctors appointment very soon after the visit to the garage which I was told would be just one hours work. It was nearly two and a half hours before I could get the car back with a MOT pass after a lot of argy-bargy with the service receptionist and I ended up missing my doctors appointment.

    First class service as always, very friendly staff and hospitable. I brought my car for an mot and the car was given a free health check. Very reassuring to know my car not only meets the mot standard but also that no other areas need attention. The mot report is incredibly detailed too. Will always return
